Drake Shrader is a graduate of the Texas State BFA Acting Class. When he was a student there, he was cast in numerous projects including A Flea In Her Ear (Poche/Chandebise), A Midsummer' Night's Dream (Bottom), and the musical Kiss Me Kate! (Man 2). Drake received an Irene Ryan nomination for his work on Midsummer. While at Texas State University he had the opportunity to work with and learn from numerous guest artists including Christopher Durang, Theresa Rebeck, Rachel Hoffman, and Bob Krakower. He also received ample training in techniques including clowning, Laban Movement, and Fitzmaurice voicework. Drake is a writer as well, having written four 10 minute plays, a one act play, and he is currently working on his first full length play. He has also had the wonderful opportunity to travel to England and study abroad with Shakespeare's Globe, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust. When Drake isn't craftily piecing together a bio that makes him look versatile and hire-able, he enjoys long walks on the ocean and the little bit of flavor dust you get at the end of eating a Doritos bag.
